Tarheel Diving Association
Northbrook participates in the Tarheel Diving Association (TDA). The Tarheel Diving Association is comprised of neighborhood dive teams in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill area. The purpose of the TDA is to encourage interest in the sport of diving, set and enforce standards for participation in the TDA league and championships, and provide a fun atmosphere for children to learn diving skills and compete against their peers. TDA is an all-volunteer organization.
Dive meets are scheduled during the summer season, ending in the TDA Championships held in July. The top two divers in each age group, along with an alternate, compete in the championship meet. Registration for the dive team includes championship meet fees.
